3D AREOLA PIGMENTATION

SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION
Scalp micropigmentation is the process of tattooing the scalp with tiny micro-dots in order to give the resemblance of stubble. Scalp micro pigmentation is essentially a simple procedure, it is not aggressive non and therefore there is no downtime. A specialised pigment matching your existing hair colour (if any exists) or skin tone and a hairline is agreed upon based on where it used to be. I then add 100’s of microdots to the scalp – focussing on the areas of thinning hair. This process can also be used to cover-up a variety of head scars. Numbing solutions are available; however, minimal pain is experienced as the pigment is placed very shallow in the skin. While this procedure can be a time-consuming, it is a really an outstanding alternative to other available treatments.
ALOPECIA
Alopecia is the state of lacking or loss of hair where it usually would grow. 10% of people will suffer the effects of Alopecia at some point in their lives. Micropigmentation is used very effectively to simulate hair where loss has occurred i.e.: eyebrows, eyelashes, filling in and covering the scalp in areas where the hair is thinning; along the hairline, sideburns, or beard, small balding spots, etc.
PORTWINE STAIN REMOVAL
I make use of the ”dermal capillary deflation” technique. This will result in a lightening of the portwine stain and can be reduced to a salmon patch. Once portwine stain is reduced back to a light salmon patch, it can last for many years. Yearly maintenance can be done to keep reducing the colour. Small areas are worked on at a time with medical numbing creams to insure comfort and painless treatment. 3-6 sessions are needed with approximately 6 weeks rest in between.
VITILIGO
Using FDA registered pigments with short microneedling technique in the papillary layer of the skin. Results last 7 to 10 years. Many skin colours to choose from. Colours can be changed at any time if a lighter or darker shade is desired. Spot test is done prior to starting to match the skin color. After 4 sessions of application, the pigments will start taking and cover the vitiligo area. Only small areas are recommended at a time.
